During my flight, I was constantly updating my sectional chart on my position (being aware of my situation), I used Atlanta Center for VFR Traffic Advisories, navigated with ADF, VORs and GPS (made use of available resources) using each one to confirm the other and when I identified the problem I, used my checklist for electrical failure in flight, confirmed that it was a true problem then found a nearby airfield to land. “After being at another flight school for a long period of time and not progressing I came onboard with Archer Air and received the proper training that I needed to become a private pilot. Recently, I needed a flight review after having been out of action for over 20 months. With such a long period since I had flown, I wanted to find a new instructor who would not assume anything about my flying and matched my serious focus on flight safety and decision-making.
